1. Angkor Wat

It seems to reflect the Khmer idea to build a temple as “the model of cosmic world” with five stoned, lotus-like towers surrounded by outer wall and the moat. 2. Ta Prohm Temple
Ta Prohm Temple is also recoginized as the World Heritage Site. It was built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th. Coming to this temple, you will be very surprised at its image. Big trees growing over and through the building makes the scenery here like in the jungle. Dispite the power of nature, Ta Prohm temple still exist and was used as one of locations in film Tomb Raider. Thanks to nature, this temple has its own distinctive features to attract visitors.
3. Angkor Thom
Another temple which you must go to see when you travel to Cambodia is Bayon Temple. It was situated in the centre of Angkor Thom and also built by King Jayavarman VII. It has three levels with many bas-reliefs about life or religion. One of outstanding features is the faces carved out of the towers of this temple. It seems like a mysterious face with curious smile on it. People say it may be the description of Buddha or King Jayavarman VII or even the combination between two of them.
