Day 01 Kampong Tralach (Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Cruise) (L/D)

Your cruise starts as we meet at Siem Reap’s famous FCC hotel & restaurant at 8am. From there, you will be transferred by a luxury couch to Prek Kdam to meet our luxurious Mekong Dawn Cruise. Our Cruise Manager will greet you with a welcome drink. Check in your comfortable cabin as we set sail for a leisurely cruise down the river towards Kampong Tralach. Enjoy lunch onboard while taking in the scenic views of the charming Tonle Sap. Once in the local area of nature, the ship will drop anchor amongst the green rice paddies. Enjoy a laid back experience as you take a traditional ox card ride through the rural Cambodia.

Back to the boat for a relaxing dinner and drinks served on board amongst the rural scenery along the river.

Day 02 Kampong Chhnang (Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Cruise)

An early start with a gentle cruise toward Kampong Chhnang. Take your time to relax and enjoy a delectable breakfast. Then immerse in the scenic cruise from Koh Chen to Kampong Chhnang. You may be amazed by the delightful sights of floating villages, hard-working fishermen, smiling children waving you from the shores. Arrive in Kampong Chhnang at lunch time. We will dock and enjoy lunch in the bewitching setting of its stunning floating villages. After lunch and a short break, hop on a smaller boat to the local port for a visit to the pottery villages famous throughout the town. Get a true insight into the traditional craftsmanship and the beautiful items which can be found over the Kingdom. You can uncover the village either with a relaxing bike ride or a leisurely tuk tuk, both offer you the finest views of the region as you travel along the village path dotted with palm trees and lush rice fields.

After the laid back experience, back to the Mekong Dawn for breathtaking sunset over the river and along the riverside. Enjoy dinner and have a good night.

Day 03 Udong (Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Cruise) (B, L, D)

et some enjoyment with a delicious breakfast served in the gorgeous surroundings of floating villages in Kampong Chhnang. Later, the boat sets sails for a cruise down the river to the ancient capital of Udong.

Enjoy the fabulous views along the river as you cruise from Kampong Chhnang to Koh Chen. From the boat, you can capture the lovely sights of villagers and fishermen working on their rowing boats or the adorable children with a big smile from the shores. At around lunch time, we arrive and dock in Koh Chen where lunch is served followed by a visit to a local village- famous for silver and copper crafts. You will then be taken to the old Udong mountain where you take a climb to the top for a panoramic view and an exploration of its numerous stupas, tombs and monuments. You could even soak up the unusual sundown over the mountains before heading back to the boat. Enjoy a relaxing evening with a scrumptious dinner on board. The ship will drop the anchor here in the peaceful area of Koh Chen.

Day 04 Phnom Penh (Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Cruise)

After a leisurely breakfast, continue the cruise toward the last destination of Phnom Penh. It is interesting to see the strong transformation of Cambodia from the historic capital of Udong to the modern and bustling capital of Phnom Penh. Take your time to pack your luggage before checking out the cabin at around 10 am. You will be transferred to the central riverside location. End of cruise!

Day 01 Udong (Phnom Penh to Siem Reap)

Start your cruise with a meeting at the restaurant in Phnom Penh’s central riverside at 9 am. From there, you will be transferred to the private dock where our Mekong Dawn Cruise awaits. Once embarking on the boat, you will be greeted by our Cruise Manager with a welcome drink. Check in your cabin and relax as the ship sets sail for a cruise down the river to the ancient capital of Oudong. A delectable lunch will be served on board as we sail along the mighty Tonle Sap. You may see the changes in scenery from the modern impression to the historical values. 

At around 2.30 pm, the boat drops the anchor in Koh Chen where the local villagers work with silver and other materials. From there, take a short transfer to the Udong mountain where you are treated with a majestic view of the Kingdom and abundance of ancient stupas and tombs to explore. You could stay longer to soak up the idyllic sunset from the top of the mountain for back to the boat. Unwind in the evening with a tasteful dinner onboard. The boat docks in the peaceful area of Koh Chen for the night.

Day 02 Kampong Chhnang (Phnom Penh to Siem Reap)

At sunrise, the boat starts sailing toward Kampong Chhnang. Enjoy a delightful breakfast onboard while dipping in the scenic landscapes of the magical Tonle Sap Lake- one of the iconic beauty spot of Cambodia.

The cruise takes you through the unique floating villages, the friendly fishermen on the rowing boat and the lovely children waving from the shores. As we cruise in the graceful surroundings of Kampong Chhnangs, enjoy lunch on board before arriving in Kampong Chhnang town- the spot for anchoring tonight.

After a short rest, embark on a smaller boat for transfer to a local port for a visit to the famous pottery villages. These villages specialize in making pottery wares throughout the Kingdom. There are some options for you to explore the villages – by a gentle ride or a leisurely tuk tuk. Whether the way you choose, you are able to take in the endless vista of the region with palm trees, mountains and lush rice fields.

After a stunning experience, back to the Mekong Dawn to observe the sundown over the calm river. Enjoy dinner onboard followed by a comfortable stay.

Day 03 Kampong Tralach (Phnom Penh to Siem Reap)

This morning, enjoy a fresh breakfast amidst the natural surroundings and floating villages in Tonle Sap Lake area as the ship continues its way to the next stop in Kampong Tralach. Once in the rural area of nature, we will dock amongst the immense rice fields. Take your time to relax with a fabulous lunch before enjoying a traditional Ox cart ride to get around the laid back villages of Cambodian countryside.

Head back to the boat for a relaxing evening with dinner and drinks onboard. Dip in the peaceful night with enchanting rural splendor of this scenic spot.

Day 04 Siem Reap (Phnom Penh to Siem Reap)

Start sailing early this morning as we venture along the river to Prek Kdam. Upon arrival, disembark the ship for a transfer to Siem Reap by a comfortable couch. Around 2.30 pm, arrive at the Siem Reap branch of the FCC hotel & restaurant. End of the relaxing cruise.

Day 01 Phnom Penh – Oudong – Kampong Tralach – (Meals – /L/ D)

At 9.00 am, we will collect you from the hotel in Phnom Penh and transfer you to a private dock where our boutique Mekong Dawn Cruise awaits for a stunning cruise.

Once on board, you will be met by our Cruise Manager with a welcome drink. Check in your pleasant cabin as the ship starts cruising down the river to the ancient capital of Oudong. The stop for mooring today is at the quaint village of Koh Chen which is specializing in making silver and copper crafts. Get a transfer to the nearby Oudong mountain where a quite hard climb takes you to one of the most remarkable views of the Kingdom. Served as the capital city of Cambodia many centuries ago, the region is now still home to a number of ancient stupas, tombs and memorials.

After a great time reveling in the historical relics, back to the boat for an impressive view at sunset as the boat makes its way to Kampong Tralach- a rural area with natural beauty. Dinner will be served here before a peaceful rest.

Day 02 Kampong Tralach – Kampong Chhnang (B/ L/ D)

Welcome your new day with a soothing breakfast. You will then hop on an Ox cart for a fabulous ride, passing through the rural scene to visit Kampong Tralach Temple. Take some time to step back in time with the intriguing Buddha statues before returning to Mekong Dawn.

Your journey continues to Kampong Chhnang- a traditional town famous for fish farming and pottery wares. Once arrival, embark on a smaller boat to reach land for a visit to the pottery village. As a perfect way to immerse in the rural scene, a tuk tuk ride takes you through the changing sceneries of green paddies, water buffalos on the lush field or lovely local children with a big smile saying “hello” to you.

After a tour with enjoyment, back to Mekong Dawn for a relaxing evening on board. Dinner and drinks will be served amongst the delightful spots along the river.

Day 03 Chnouk Tru – Kompong Thom – Siem Reap (B/ L/ -)

As the sun rises over the tranquil area, the boat sets out its gentle ride to Chnouk Tru. Take your time to enjoy breakfast in the fresh setting of nature. Once arrival, jump on a smaller boat for a ride to the quaint Chnouk Tru floating village. Located amidst the endless charm of the great Tonle Sap Lake, the village features with a community who spend their lives on the water. Observe its lovely floating houses, schools, gardens and temples and meander along Stung Sean River to Kompong Thom. Stop for lunch before proceeding to Siem Reap with a private car. The scenic drive (about 1.5 hours) will offer you an opportunity to get a true insight into the unique local life of Cambodian. At around 2.30, you’ll arrive in Siem Reap. End of trip!

Day 01 Siem Reap – Kompong Thom – Chnouk Tru – Kampong Chhnang (L/ D)

At 8.30 am, you will be collected from your hotel in Siem Reap and transferred with a private car to Kompong Thom.

Once arrival, hop on a small boat for an enticing boat ride on the calm waters of Stung Sean River to the quaint Chnouk Tru floating village. Nested on the beautiful Tonle Sap Lake, the village is known for the traditional fishing communities spending their lives on the water. You will be fascinated by its floating houses, schools, temples and gardens…all on water. From there, our luxurious Mekong Dawn Cruise awaits you for an amazing trip.

You will be warmly welcomed by our crew with a welcome drink before sitting back in your enjoyable cabin. Enjoy lunch on board as the ship starts sailing toward Kampong Chhnang- a traditional land noted for its fish farming, pottery wares. The ship stops to anchor here for the night.

Day 02 Kampong Chhnang – Koh Chen (Chinese Island) – (B/ L/ D)

Start your day with a healthy breakfast before setting out your exciting journey. Jump on a small boat to reach the land for a visit of the pottery village.

Enjoy a relaxing tuk tuk ride to get around the villages. Take in the stunning scenery of the region pass by from the immense green paddies spotted with palm trees, gentle buffalos grazing in verdant grass field or smiling children waving and saying “hello” with all the excitement from their stilt houses.

After a pleasant tour, back to the boat for a fabulous traditional lunch. Afterward, spend your leisure time enjoying the bewitching landscapes, watching fishermen rowing their wooden boats while the ship sails toward Kampong Tralach.

Once reaching the region, hop on an Ox Cart- a traditional means of transport used by villagers in most rural areas, for a visit to the old Kampong Tralach Temple. Admire some pieces of sandstones and pay your respect to the ancient Buddha statues of the temple before heading back to Mekong Dawn in time for a magical sunset. Just sit back with snacks and drinks while passing by the scenic water landscapes. The ship now sails towards the ancient capital of Cambodia- Oudong. The anchor stop for the night is Koh Chen- a traditional village famous for silver and copper smiting.

Day 03 Koh Chen – Phnom Penh – (B/ L)

Enjoy a toothsome breakfast on board followed by a visit to Oudong Temple- perched on the top of Oudong mountain. Conquer the challenge with 509 steps to reach the top of the mountain. Once on the summit, feast your eyes on the thrilling views and a dense array of historical stupas, monuments and tombs. After a fascinating experience, head back to the boat for a hearty lunch while sailing towards the final destination of Phnom Penh. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, disembark the boat. Your memorable cruise comes to an end.

See the changing sceneries from the high buildings and the bustle of the capital of Phnom Penh to the rural scene of the ancient capital.

At 2.30 in the afternoon, the ship docks in Koh Chen- home to the traditional crafts from silver and other materials. From there, get a transfer to the nearby Udong mountain. Gear up for a climb to enjoy one of the finest views of the Kingdom.

Once served as the capital city of Cambodia, the region still remains a cluster of ancient stupas, tombs, and monuments. You can choose to stay here for a breathtaking sunset or head back to the boat. In the evening, you will be served a scrumptious dinner onboard. The cruise anchors in the peaceful area of Koh Chen for the night.
