We booked our trip on the luxurious Jayavarman cruise ship (54 passengers max.) through Phoenix Vu of Hello Vietnam Travel Hanoi. Phoenix was a star and did an excellent job of arranging everything we required for the trip and happily answered my many questions! We can thoroughly recommend this cruise to anyone.

The whole cruise was a wonderful experience with amazing staff from the captain down and they also had fun. There were excursions twice a day to villages, schools with young children learning English (most fun part!) supported by the cruise line and tourists, ox cart rides and talks and films at night. The food was excellent and the drink free flowing. We lacked for nothing and the staff went out of their way to be of help and they were always very cheerful. Doing Tai Chi in the early morning on the top deck while we sailed up river was a beautiful experience.

All in all one of our best holidays.

Mekong Cruises (Hang and Rosie) organised a wonderful Mekong Trip (on Mekong Eyes Classic) to Chau Doc with an overnight in the nice Victoria Hotel and the boat trip (speedboat) to Phnom Penh. Every thing was well planned and we never had to wait for a guide or a transport (from the Hotel in Saigon to the boat and from the boat to the Hotel und in PP). Also at the border to Cambodia the guide organised the visa on arrival.

All the excursions on the Mekong Tour were marvellous and mostly off the beaten Tracks. The dinners on the boat were exquisite and the staff very friendly.

The informations by mail and WhatsApp which I got first from Hang and afterwards from Rosie were very competent and we even developped a friendship. We can highly recommend this agency with these wonderful employees.

Exceeded my expectations on all levels. We cruised from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap Cambodia on a 7-day Pandaw cruise. At every turn in the river there was an exciting place to see or things to do. The attention to detail by the crew was second to none. The food was fabulous. The guides we had knew exactly all the good spots to take us to for shore excursions. The wait staff in the dining room could not have been better or more attentive. Our room was always spotless and well ordered. I recommend this adventure for everyone's bucket list.

We travelled on Jayavarman from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap in August. The cruise was in the low (wet) season, with the vessel at about 75% capacity. The crew and guides (Vietnamese and Cambodian) were fantastic and the vessel luxurious. Excursion were planned daily and we were unobtrusive observers to the hustle and bustle of Vietnamese and Cambodian life on the river. The wide after saloon deck was the social centre of the ship and the popular spot as we cruised upriver and across Lake Ton Le Sap, swelled (and navigable) by the monsoon floods. Highly recommended vessel and line.

The boat was luxurious with spacious and comfortable cabins, lovely relaxing areas and a wonderful pool on the top deck. The meals were well prepared and tasty. There were numerous activities and excursions one could do which really helped us to understand the history of Cambodia and how the people live. The staff were wonderful - helpful and friendly and they made sure we had everything we needed. If you are only in Cambodia for a short time, I would recommend this cruise as an excellent way to see the sights and learn a lot in a very comfortable setting.

One more day of 8 on our Mekong River cruise aboard Jayavarman. we saw all the internet promo's. Well, as great as they are, the experience on board is far more spectacular. THE FOOD. Just perfect and varied. As I am Aussie. the chef got off, bought potatoes and made me chips (spoiled). They can not do enough for you. Only 27 cabins. Not crowded. I have not been so pampered in my life (sorry mum). The scenery, the daily tours if you choose are amazing. I could go on and on, but you need to experience this yourself.

I took a Mekong cruise on the luxurious RV Mekong Pandaw Cruise and it brought us a great experience out of our expectation. The ship was nice and luxurious. There was a wide range of food which was tasty. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful and the crew was so friendly and caring. The service was just excellent. Pandaw could do anything to meet guest’s requests.

I had a memory with the ship. I left my coat on the van on the way to Siem Reap and Pandaw found the way to send it back to me. It was not a big problem for me but it assured the greatness of the ship’s service. I was very satisfied with the RV Mekong Pandaw. Do not miss the chance if you also want to have an excellent cruise.

The Jahan Cruise is high-class level, and the lower deck cabin provides us the amazing sight of the river in one of the best Mekong river cruises we experienced. The service was really satisfying, and the staff are gentle and attentive. The silver service was also excellent with savory food, especially for buffet and BBQ. It felt like we were having a private party with 15 of us and more than 40 staff. No phone is available in the dining room, while Wifi is only provided in the Lounge area, but it doesn't matter.

During our trip, Tea was our guide. He was passionate and had deep knowledge about his country. Thanks to him, we could understand more about Cambodia’s background and the people. It was an incredible trip as we experienced a part of Cambodian people’s life. We also even got a rare chance when we were invitied to a village’s party we visited and we were treated as honored guests. The only downside was that our cabin was below the dock level and the view to the quayside during the docking at Phnom Penh due to the low-water. The situation was in two nights out of 4 nights. If you complain to the staff, they will guide you to higher deck. During two nights in Phnom Penh the sister ship was also mooring.

We had a delightful trip in one week, sailing down on Mekong River from the Northern part to the Delta in Vietnam on Jayavarman Cruise, which is the sister ship to the Jahan (we once saw it at close range). We had a delightful trip in one week, sailing down on Mekong River from the Northern part to the Delta in Vietnam on Jayavarman Cruise, which is the sister ship to the Jahan (we once saw it at close range). The cruise itself and the line are high-class, exclusive and luxurious. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and polite. We had a pretty interesting itinerary, with trips to villages, a full day of tours while in Phnom Penh with lunch at local restaurant.

The food on the cruise was fantastic. We stayed in a superior-grade cabin which included a reasonable-size balcony, all decorated in traditional/colonial design. It was truly a memorable journey with good crew and company. Our fellow passengers were mostly UK, Australian, a few Canadians, Americans and middle-aged or retirees. This is an absolutely suggested cruise line.

We spent 7 wonderful days & nights cruising upstream from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap onboard The Jahan. Due to lack of rain & Tonle Sap having low water levels we had to travel by bus the last leg (5 hours) into Siem Reap itself from Kampong Cham which was yet another layer of experience to add to our journey. From the start of our voyage to the end of it, we were looked after perfectly. The Jahan itself is faultless as are the crew & staff. The activities, tours and visits arranged for guests whilst on this journey were many & varied. We learned a great deal more about Vietnam & Cambodia both culturally & historically. Our guides were perfect, Tie from Vietnam & Ti from Cambodia we're passionate, knowledgeable and entertaining too. We were sad to say goodbye to them as we were to leave RV Jahan!
