In the morning, we meet our guests at our Saigon lounge. After a coffee and collecting your info, we leave Saigon's busy streets and head 70 kilometers south to My Tho to board our ship. Once you're settled, we start our journey on this big river.
We serve a buffet lunch as we sail up the river. In the evening light, mingle with other guests over canapés and prosecco.
By dinner, we'll be near Tan Phong Island, anchoring for the night. This gives you a preview of where our land exploration begins tomorrow. End the day with classic movies or documentaries in our onboard cinema.

Welcome to Phnom Penh, once called the "Paris of the East," which keeps its old-world charm amidst modern growth. It's a city rich in history and culture.
After breakfast, we start our city tour with a cyclo ride, visiting landmarks like the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, then the "S21" prison, reminding us of the Khmer Rouge era. Lunch in town will be followed by a visit to one of the country's most famous history museums, "Sosoro", and a walk in the French Quarter, ending at Wat Phnom.
Tonight, join us for a talk in the lounge, followed by an outdoor barbecue, gala dinner, and Apsara dance. Afterward, you're free to enjoy Phnom Penh's night scene or the riverfront.
As dawn breaks, we sail into the Tonle River, surrounded by Cambodia's stunning landscapes.
Our first visit is to the famous Koh Chen's Silver Smith Village, where 400 families create beautiful silver, copper, and brass items, some of which have graced Phnom Penh's Royal Palace.
During our upstream journey, enjoy lunch and a showcase of traditional Khmer attire for special events.
We then reach Kampong Laeang, opposite the pottery hub of Kampong Chhnang. A tuk-tuk ride takes us into rural Cambodia, where we'll see pottery making, visit an ancient pre-Angkorian temple, and view the expansive floodplains and rice fields (depending on the season).
After getting back on the ship, we start heading downstream towards Kampong Tralach, where we'll stop for the night.
OPTIONAL EXCURSION (CYCLING):
Afternoon: After getting off the ship, we jump on our bikes for a local Khmer adventure. We ride through rice fields and small villages where folks make pottery or palm sugar. The land is flat and the countryside views are stunning, making for an easy and fascinating ride as we see everyday life happening around us.
Distance: 17 km / Duration: approx. 90 min / Terrain: flat on paved and partly easy dirt road
This morning, we're off to explore the countryside near Kampong Tralach. We'll ride in a cart pulled by oxen, passing by beautiful rice fields until we reach a small village. There, we'll learn about a local NGO school and library project run by a local group. Besides, you can visit an old temple and Buddha shrine that's been around for nearly 300 years.
As we head downstream, passing Phnom Penh to enter the Mekong River, we'll share a talk about these rivers.
Near where the Tonle and Mekong Rivers meet, we find Prek Bangkong, a village famous for silk weaving. It used to be home to the Royal family. Today, the highlight is the silk weavers, who make silk from scratch. We'll get to see how they do it up close. Our visit ends at the historic home of H.E. Sam-El, a well-known royal architect.
We'll spend the rest of the day cruising up the Mekong to where we'll stay for the night. Chill by the pool with a cocktail during sunset, with some music to set the mood, before having dinner and watching a movie in the evening.
OPTIONAL EXCURSION (CYCLING):
Morning: Spend another day exploring Cambodia's countryside with our bike tour in the beautiful Tonle Region. Ride through stunning scenery, passing historic sites like the old royal palace of "Lungvek" and the ancient Buddha Jade Temple from 1560. Along the way, enjoy the simple pace of local life and watch fishermen skillfully throw their nets into the calm Tonle waters.
Distance: 14 km / Duration: approx. 120 min / Terrain: flat on concrete path
Afternoon: Today's bike ride brings us to the amazing old royal palace of “Lavea Em” from the early 1600s. Ride comfortably through beautiful scenery, stopping at old temples, lively silk-making places, and busy markets. Enjoy a nice tea break at H.E. Sam-El's house, making your bike trip even more special.
Distance: 14 km / Duration: approx. 120 min / Terrain: flat on concrete path
Start the day with morning Tai Chi before we explore Angkor Ban. Visit a monastery and the village behind it, where you can chat with monks and locals. Walking through the village, you'll see the local lifestyle up close, making great memories of Cambodia's countryside. This charming village is perfect for photos and meeting the community.
We head to Kampong Cham during lunch.
In Kampong Cham, a key trade spot by the Mekong River, small villages around the town showcase the locals' craftsmanship, like in Cheung Kok where they make handmade goods. The seasonal Bamboo bridge nearby is not just for crossing; it connects us to history.
Then, the ship heads to its last stop, anchoring in the middle of the river near Stueng Trang, with a goodbye party vibe on the way.
OPTIONAL EXCURSION (CYCLING):
Morning: Our bike tour today kicks off with a peaceful chat with a monk, giving a nice start to the day. As you ride, you'll pass through green fields of crops and see old houses that show a bit of Cambodia's history. You'll also get to see blacksmiths making things the old-fashioned way. Wrap up your ride with a cool break, enjoying a cold local beer or some fresh sugar cane juice.
Distance: 10 km / Duration: approx. 120 min / Terrain: flat on concrete path
Afternoon: Start an adventure bike ride from the small town of Kampong Cham to the peaceful island of Koh Pen. Feel the charm of Khmer life as you bike past colorful vegetable fields and green tobacco farms. On the way, you'll see local farmers, crafters, and beekeepers busy with their work. Riding on both smooth and rough roads gives you a closer look at life in Cambodia's countryside.
Distance: 16 km / Duration: approx. 120 min / Terrain: flat on concrete path
Have your last breakfast with us before we leave the ship and take a 4-hour bus ride to Siem Reap. Our guides will keep you interested with facts about Cambodia on the way. We hope you loved the cruise and made great memories and friends. Share your stories of the great Mekong River.
You'll get to Siem Reap by early afternoon. End of services.

7. Children Price & Extra Bed
Infants below the age of 5 years may sleep in their parent's cabin without extra charge but RV Jahan Cruise cannot guarantee the availability of a cot. Children above 5 years must solely occupy a bed and pay 30% of total cabin rate.
8. Insurance
We strongly advise travelers to purchase trip cancellation insurance. In this case, guests will be reimbursed the cost of air tickets and other non-refundable trip payments. We also highly recommend guests to get international medical, baggage loss and delay insurance in the case of bad situations. RV Jahan Cruise will take no responsibility for lost or stolen personal belongings.
9. Dietary needs
For travelers with special dietary needs, they should contact with us at least 30 days prior to embarkation. The cruise liner will make the outmost effort to provide special dietary needs and requests basing on product’s availability.
10. Travelers’ responsibilities
All the travelers taking the cruise should take responsibilities towards their fellow passengers and the crew of the Jahan Cruise. Travelers should review the conditions of the trip itinerary and have a proper social behavior with fellow passengers and crew members. They should observe all the safety requirements on board and on excursions.
