Our guide will meet you at Siem Reap International Airport or your local hotel in Siem Reap and take you to a local restaurant for lunch before you check into your hotel.
In the afternoon, we'll see Cambodia's most famous temple, Angkor Wat. It's stunning to look at, with a huge pyramid shape and five towers on top that look like beehives, standing 65 meters tall. Angkor Wat is a must-see when visiting the area.
End the day with a beautiful sunset view from Bakheng Hill.
After breakfast at your hotel, get ready for a day filled with adventure as we visit the many temples and ruins of the Angkor Empire. In the morning, we'll explore the big area around the impressive Bayon Temple.
After lunch at a local spot, we'll check out more hidden temples, including the amazing and jungle-covered Ta Prohm, known from the Tomb Raider movie.
In the evening, get ready for a real Cambodian treat as we watch a fantastic show by young, talented performers at Phare Ponleu Selpak's Circus. This show isn't just fun; it's part of a project that helps Cambodian youth learn skills and find jobs.
Leave your hotel and come to the lobby at 09:00 AM to sign up and head to your RV Mekong Pandaw ship.
We'll take a bus from Siem Reap to Kampong Cham to get on the ship. Enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Mekong and say hello to the crew you'll be with for the next 7-night-cruise.
We'll catch the sunrise as we head to Angkor Ban village to see the daily life of the locals and check out the library given by Pandaw to the local school.
NOTE: If you want to give books, feel free to bring children's books in English (good for ages 8 to 15) to give to the library yourself.
After lunch, we go to Koh Nghe Tei (Silk Island) to learn how silk is made, from the silkworms to the final weaving. We'll meet silk weavers and have the chance to buy their beautiful silk scarves and fabrics. This village is also known for L’bokator, an ancient Cambodian martial art that means 'pounding a lion', involving weapon skills. It's one of Cambodia's oldest fighting styles, dating back to the Angkor era.
In the morning, we'll take a bus to Oudong, Cambodia's old capital. Along the way, we'll stop at the Vipassana Dhura Meditation Centre and then take a tour around the city. We'll get back on the ship in Kampong Tralach for lunch.
In the afternoon, we'll ride ox-carts through villages, markets, and temples by the river.
In the evening, we'll have cocktails around a village fire pit, and local people will join us to share their traditional dances and more about their wonderful Khmer culture.

We'll catch the sunrise as we head to Angkor Ban village to see the daily life of the locals and check out the library given by Pandaw to the local school.
NOTE: If you want to give books, feel free to bring children's books in English (good for ages 8 to 15) to give to the library yourself.
In the afternoon, we'll cruise north to Wat Hanchey, a historic worship site from the Chenla period, set on a hill with great views of the Mekong River. We'll see ancient buildings from the 8th century, some damaged by American bombs during the Vietnam War.
Disembark and take a bus from Kampong Cham through the beautiful countryside to get to Siem Reap, near Angkor Wat.
