Siem Reap to Phnom Penh 4 Days 3 Nights

Destinations: Siem Reap - Kampong Cham - Angkor Ban Village - Oudong - Kampong Tralach - Phnom Penh

Departure date of itinerary: Contact us for details

Day 01 Siem Reap - Disembarkation - Kampong Cham

We'll take a bus from Siem Reap to Kampong Cham to get on the ship. Enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Mekong and say hello to the crew you'll be with for the next 7-night-cruise.

Day 02 Angkor Ban Village Walks - Silk Island

We'll catch the sunrise as we head to Angkor Ban village to see the daily life of the locals and check out the library given by Pandaw to the local school.

NOTE: If you want to give books, feel free to bring children's books in English (good for ages 8 to 15) to give to the library yourself.

After lunch, we go to Koh Nghe Tei (Silk Island) to learn how silk is made, from the silkworms to the final weaving. We'll meet silk weavers and have the chance to buy their beautiful silk scarves and fabrics. This village is also known for L’bokator, an ancient Cambodian martial art that means 'pounding a lion', involving weapon skills. It's one of Cambodia's oldest fighting styles, dating back to the Angkor era.

Day 03 Oudong - Kampong Tralach

In the morning, we'll take a bus to Oudong, Cambodia's old capital. Along the way, we'll stop at the Vipassana Dhura Meditation Centre and then take a tour around the city. We'll get back on the ship in Kampong Tralach for lunch.

In the afternoon, we'll ride ox-carts through villages, markets, and temples by the river.

In the evening, we'll have cocktails around a village fire pit, and local people will join us to share their traditional dances and more about their wonderful Khmer culture.

Day 04 Phnom Penh - Disembarkation

After breakfast, disembark in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
