Tonle Suites

After lunch, cyclo drivers take us on a Phnom Penh city tour. We start by the river, visit the Royal Palace and its gardens, see the Throne Hall and Moonlight Pavilion, and then the Silver Pagoda with its precious Emerald Buddha and a diamond-covered Maitreya Buddha. After a break, we head to the National Museum to see Cambodia's rich history, including items from the Angkor area and the Khmer Empire.

This morning, after completing immigration procedures to Vietnam, we will visit Hong Ngu, a village close to the Vietnam-Cambodia border known for making traditional Khmer scarves. We'll see how these scarves are woven in local homes and meet some villagers who are skilled in embroidery. The people here are very welcoming. We'll also check out a local temple of the Hoa Hao, a unique religion in this region.
In the afternoon, we take sampans to Gieng Island. We'll walk through a village where families make sampans and then explore the island's mango gardens by canal. We'll ride a "xe loi" (motor trishaw) to see a Phanxico Monastery.
The ship then heads to Hoa An. Overnight on the cruise.
This morning, we take a boat to Hoa An village, famous for its flowers and crafts. We'll start at the flower gardens to see various flowers and learn about their care. Then, we'll walk to a local home to chat with the residents about their daily lives.
After a break, we'll ride motor trishaws to another village to visit families that make conical hats. We'll chat with them and learn about their craft while walking through the peaceful village, passing rice fields and fruit trees.
In the afternoon, the ship heads to Au Island, near Can Tho city in a less-visited part of the Mekong Delta. A sampan will take us to Ninh Kieu Wharf for a tour, including the night market and Zihuang Pagoda (Chua Ong), where we'll see a unicorn dance by local youths. You'll have time to explore Can Tho before we head back to the ship.

Early in the morning, we'll start with a light breakfast. Then, we'll take a sampan through the bustling Cai Rang floating market, weaving between boats selling all sorts of goods. You'll get great photo ops and enjoy fresh fruit, a special Vietnamese drink, and coconut water. We'll also visit a place where they make dry noodles before heading back for a full breakfast on the Mekong Princess.
After completing the port formalities, we'll sail from Hoang Dieu Harbor down the Bassac River, passing through various canals and rivulets, and finally onto the Mekong River. We'll anchor for the night in Ben Tre province, right in the Mekong Delta's heart.

This morning, sampans guide you through mangrove-lined channels. We'll ride a "xe lam" (three-wheeler), the most popular transportation here to see how coconut candy is made. After that, we'll walk through the village to an orchard to see and taste local fruits.
Then, we'll take small boats through creeks surrounded by Nipah palms before heading back to the ship.
We'll navigate the Mekong River, passing through Cho Gao Canal, Vam Co River, and other waterways, ending at Saigon River.

MEKONG PRINCESS CRUISE POLICY
1. Transfers & Joining
Meeting point for checking - in Mekong Princess, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam:
The lobby of Park Hyatt Saigon hotel. No.2 Lam Son Square District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Meeting point for checking-in Mekong Princess, Phnom Penh, Cambodia:
Titanic Restaurant, Phnom Penh.

(Note: A hospitality desk will be arranged at the restaurant entrance)
2. Deposit
The deposit equivalent to 30% of the total price shall be paid at the time of booking;
The remaining fee equivalent to 70% of the total price shall be paid at least 125 days before the departure.
* Certain special offers may require higher non-refundable deposits. These will be advised to you at the time of booking.
3. Cancellation by Customer
If you want to cancel your booking, you must inform us via fax or email. The followings cancellation charges will be applied:
More than 125 days prior to the departure: US $400 each passenger which is non-refundable.
Between 124 days and 95 days prior to the departure: 50% of the total price.
Within 94 days prior to the departure, even when the passengers absent during the voyage: 100% of the total price.
We may cancel the reservation and booked tickets if other Passengers hire the whole vessel, even that the Passengers have made full payment or non-payment or paid deposit only, and we shall refund such payments. Provided that we must notify you at least ninety 85 days prior to the departure;
* In the event of cancellations, wire fees and credit card commissions will be deducted when calculating refunds.
4. Children Price
Children under 6 years old sharing the same bed with her/his parent: The child receives 80% reduction from adult price.
Children from 6 years old up to 12 years old receives 30% reduction from adult price.
Children from 12 years old up will be fully charged at the adult price.
Parents can only bring children under 6 years old on these occasions: Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year.
Children age will be counted to the departure day of voyage.
* Please note our cruises are not safe and suitable for young or small children under 6 years old as our ship have railings but no netting.
5. Departure Date Change Policy
The Passengers will not be allowed to change the travel agency right after we receive the final payment;
The final document will be issued after we receive the final payment and about thirty (30) days before the departure;
All the reservation can be canceled if the final payment is not be settled in due time and the reservations are guaranteed only when full payment is settled at least 125 days before the departure.
