The Angkor Suites can be found on the Upper Deck, on the bow of the cruise, and remains our biggest cabins onboard. Besides modern facilities, tourists will rest in a 560 square feet room with a large private balcony allowing passengers to fully immerse in the natural beauty.

Day 01 Phnom Penh - Embarkation

Our guide will meet you at 11:30 AM at Phnom Penh port on the Mekong Princess. Right after you get on, we'll have a safety briefing in the Ramvong Lounge.

After lunch, cyclo drivers take us on a Phnom Penh city tour. We start by the river, visit the Royal Palace and its gardens, see the Throne Hall and Moonlight Pavilion, and then the Silver Pagoda with its precious Emerald Buddha and a diamond-covered Maitreya Buddha. After a break, we head to the National Museum to see Cambodia's rich history, including items from the Angkor area and the Khmer Empire.

Day 02 Angkor Ban

The Mekong Princess heads from Phnom Penh to Angkor Ban. In the afternoon, we explore Angkor Ban, seeing how locals live. We'll start at a pagoda where monks will bless our guests, then visit a family to learn about their life. We'll also stop by the local school to see a typical day for the students.

The ship then moves to Kampong Cham. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 03 Kampong Cham - Disembarkation - Siem Reap

Have a big breakfast buffet in the Indochine Restaurant. After eating, we leave the Mekong Princess in Kampong Cham and take a bus to your Siem Reap hotel around noon. End of services.

Day 01 Siem Reap - Embarkation - Kampong Cham

Early in the morning, our guide will pick you up from your Siem Reap hotel. Please tell us your hotel's name and address and be ready by 07:00 AM for our shuttle.

We'll take you by bus from Siem Reap to Kampong Cham to board the RV Mekong Princess for lunch. After you get on, we'll have a safety briefing in the Ramvong Lounge. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the cruise, then enjoy a Cambodian Welcome Dinner on board.

The ship heads to Angkor Ban and stays there for the night.

Day 02 Angkor Ban - Phnom Penh

You can explore the area, check out the museum, and see the Memorial Stupa. On the way back to Phnom Penh, you'll visit Tuol Sleng (S-21), a school turned into a prison by the Khmer Rouge.

After your trip ashore, please check your luggage outside your suite. Then, it's time to say goodbye to the Mekong Princess and the crew at Phnom Penh Port. You'll disembark at 05:00 PM. End of services.

Day 04 Border Crossing - Hong Ngu Village - Gieng Island

This morning, after completing immigration procedures to Vietnam, we will visit Hong Ngu, a village close to the Vietnam-Cambodia border known for making traditional Khmer scarves. We'll see how these scarves are woven in local homes and meet some villagers who are skilled in embroidery. The people here are very welcoming. We'll also check out a local temple of the Hoa Hao, a unique religion in this region.

In the afternoon, we take sampans to Gieng Island. We'll walk through a village where families make sampans and then explore the island's mango gardens by canal. We'll ride a "xe loi" (motor trishaw) to see a Phanxico Monastery.

The ship then heads to Hoa An. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 05 Hoa An Village - Can Tho

This morning, we take a boat to Hoa An village, famous for its flowers and crafts. We'll start at the flower gardens to see various flowers and learn about their care. Then, we'll walk to a local home to chat with the residents about their daily lives.

After a break, we'll ride motor trishaws to another village to visit families that make conical hats. We'll chat with them and learn about their craft while walking through the peaceful village, passing rice fields and fruit trees.

In the afternoon, the ship heads to Au Island, near Can Tho city in a less-visited part of the Mekong Delta. A sampan will take us to Ninh Kieu Wharf for a tour, including the night market and Zihuang Pagoda (Chua Ong), where we'll see a unicorn dance by local youths. You'll have time to explore Can Tho before we head back to the ship.

Onboard activities: Talk to Vietnam, the past and present by a local Vietnamese host.

Day 06 Can Tho - Ben Tre

Early in the morning, we'll start with a light breakfast. Then, we'll take a sampan through the bustling Cai Rang floating market, weaving between boats selling all sorts of goods. You'll get great photo ops and enjoy fresh fruit, a special Vietnamese drink, and coconut water. We'll also visit a place where they make dry noodles before heading back for a full breakfast on the Mekong Princess.

After completing the port formalities, we'll sail from Hoang Dieu Harbor down the Bassac River, passing through various canals and rivulets, and finally onto the Mekong River. We'll anchor for the night in Ben Tre province, right in the Mekong Delta's heart.

Onboard activities: Show how to carve fruits and talk about different tropical fruits.

Day 07 Ben Tre - Saigon

This morning, sampans guide you through mangrove-lined channels. We'll ride a "xe lam" (three-wheeler), the most popular transportation here to see how coconut candy is made. After that, we'll walk through the village to an orchard to see and taste local fruits.

Then, we'll take small boats through creeks surrounded by Nipah palms before heading back to the ship.

We'll navigate the Mekong River, passing through Cho Gao Canal, Vam Co River, and other waterways, ending at Saigon River.

The ship stays overnight at Saigon Port.

Day 08 Saigon - Disembarkation

Have a big breakfast buffet in the Indochine Restaurant. After eating and finishing up some paperwork at the port, we leave the Mekong Princess at 08:00 AM in Saigon port. Then, a bus takes you to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. End of services.

Day 01 Saigon - Embarkation

In the late morning, our guide will pick you up from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel to take you to the Mekong Princess at Saigon Port - 05 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street. Please give us your hotel information and be ready there between 10:00 and 11:00 AM for our shuttle.

After onboarding, we'll have a safety briefing in the Ramvong Lounge, and you'll meet the Vietnamese and Cambodian crew. Then, we set off along the Saigon River, and lunch is served. Relax in your luxurious suite and enjoy the views as we pass through various rivers and canals to the Mekong River.

By late afternoon, we'll be deep in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy cocktails and the sunset before a traditional Vietnamese dinner in the Indochine Restaurant onboard. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 02 Ben Tre - Can Tho

This morning, sampans guide you through mangrove-lined channels. You'll ride a "xe lam" (three-wheeler) to see how local coconut candy is made and visit a fruit orchard. After tasting fresh fruit, you'll take small boats through creeks surrounded by Nipah palms before heading back to the ship.

In the afternoon, we sail to Au Island, across from Can Tho City, a less-visited part of the Mekong Delta. In Can Tho, a sampan tour includes a visit to Zihuang Pagoda and local unicorn dances. You'll have free time to wander the city and night market, then it's back to the ship for dinner.

Day 03 Can Tho - Hoa An Village

Early in the morning, you'll have a light breakfast. Then, the sampan takes you to see the bustling Cai Rang floating market. Day 04 Gieng Island - Hong Ngu Village

After breakfast, we take sampans to Gieng Island, visit a sampan-making village, and explore mango gardens by canal. We'll ride a "xe loi" (motor trishaw), the most popular transportation here to see a Phanxico Monastery.

In the afternoon, we explore Hong Ngu village, known for Khmer scarves to export Cambodia. We'll see scarf weaving and embroidery at local homes. The locals are very welcoming to guests when they come here. We also visit a temple of the Hoa Hao, a unique religion in this region.

By evening, the Mekong Princess will head to the border for exit formalities, then continue to Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 05 Border Crossing - Phnom Penh

In the morning, the Mekong Princess completes border formalities and sails to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. After completing immigration procedures to Cambodia, you'll start a city tour of Phnom Penh with local cyclo drivers.

The tour kicks off along the riverfront, leading to the Royal Palace with its stunning gardens, Throne Hall, and Moonlight Pavilion. Next, you'll visit the Silver Pagoda, known for its Emerald Buddha and a diamond-encrusted Maitreya Buddha. After a brief pause, the journey continues to the National Museum, filled with Cambodia's significant historical artifacts from the Angkor region and the Khmer Empire, wrapping up your morning exploration.

Day 01 Phnom Penh - Embarkation

Day 04 Gieng Island - Hong Ngu Village

After breakfast, we take sampans to Gieng Island, visit a sampan-making village, and explore mango gardens by canal. We'll ride a "xe loi" (motor trishaw), the most popular transportation here to see a Phanxico Monastery.

In the afternoon, we explore Hong Ngu village, known for Khmer scarves to export Cambodia. We'll see scarf weaving and embroidery at local homes. The locals are very welcoming to guests when they come here. We also visit a temple of the Hoa Hao, a unique religion in this region.

By evening, the Mekong Princess will head to the border for exit formalities, then continue to Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 05 Border Crossing - Phnom Penh

In the morning, the Mekong Princess completes border formalities and sails to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. After completing immigration procedures to Cambodia, you'll start a city tour of Phnom Penh with local cyclo drivers.

The tour kicks off along the riverfront, leading to the Royal Palace with its stunning gardens, Throne Hall, and Moonlight Pavilion. Next, you'll visit the Silver Pagoda, known for its Emerald Buddha and a diamond-encrusted Maitreya Buddha. After a brief pause, the journey continues to the National Museum, filled with Cambodia's significant historical artifacts from the Angkor region and the Khmer Empire, wrapping up your morning exploration.

Day 06 Phnom Penh City Tour

This morning, a short drive takes you to Choeung Ek (about 45 minutes), known from the movie as the Killing Fields, a reminder of Cambodia's tragic past. You can explore the area, check out the museum, and see the Memorial Stupa. On the way back to Phnom Penh, you'll visit Tuol Sleng (S-21), a school turned into a prison by the Khmer Rouge.

You have the afternoon free to look around Phnom Penh on your own.

Before dinner, enjoy onboard entertainment featuring Apsara, Cambodia's national dance, and other traditional folk dances.

Day 07 Angkor Ban

The Mekong Princess heads from Phnom Penh to Angkor Ban. In the afternoon, we explore Angkor Ban, seeing how locals live. We'll start at a pagoda where monks will bless our guests, then visit a family to learn about their life. We'll also stop by the local school to see a typical day for the students.

The ship then moves to Kampong Cham. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 08 Kampong Cham - Disembarkation - Siem Reap

Have a big breakfast buffet in the Indochine Restaurant. After eating, we leave the Mekong Princess in Kampong Cham and take a bus to your Siem Reap hotel around noon. End of services.

Day 01 Can Tho - Embarkation - Ben Tre

Our guide will await you at the Mekong Princess docking at Au Island, across from Can Tho City, a less-visited part of the Mekong Delta. We'll start sailing at 11:00 AM. Right after you get on, we'll have a safety briefing in the Ramvong Lounge.

After completing the port formalities, we'll sail from Hoang Dieu Harbor down the Bassac River, passing through various canals and rivulets, and finally onto the Mekong River. We'll anchor for the night in Ben Tre province, right in the Mekong Delta's heart.

Day 02 Ben Tre - Saigon

This morning, sampans guide you through mangrove-lined channels. We'll ride a "xe lam" (three-wheeler), the most popular transportation here to see how coconut candy is made. After that, we'll walk through the village to an orchard to see and taste local fruits.

Then, we'll take small boats through creeks surrounded by Nipah palms before heading back to the ship.

We'll navigate the Mekong River, passing through Cho Gao Canal, Vam Co River, and other waterways, ending at Saigon River.

The ship stays overnight at Saigon Port.

Day 03 Saigon - Disembarkation

Have a big breakfast buffet in the Indochine Restaurant. After eating and finishing up some paperwork at the port, we leave the Mekong Princess at 08:00 AM in Saigon port. Then, a bus takes you to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. End of services.

MEKONG PRINCESS CRUISE POLICY

1. Transfers & Joining

Meeting point for checking-in Mekong Princess, Phnom Penh, Cambodia:

Titanic Restaurant, Phnom Penh.

2. Deposit

The deposit equivalent to 30% of the total price shall be paid at the time of booking;

The remaining fee equivalent to 70% of the total price shall be paid at least 125 days before the departure.

* Certain special offers may require higher non-refundable deposits. These will be advised to you at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation by Customer

If you want to cancel your booking, you must inform us via fax or email. The followings cancellation charges will be applied:

More than 125 days prior to the departure: US $400 each passenger which is non-refundable.

Between 124 days and 95 days prior to the departure: 50% of the total price.

Within 94 days prior to the departure, even when the passengers absent during the voyage: 100% of the total price.

We may cancel the reservation and booked tickets if other Passengers hire the whole vessel, even that the Passengers have made full payment or non-payment or paid deposit only, and we shall refund such payments. Provided that we must notify you at least ninety 85 days prior to the departure;

* In the event of cancellations, wire fees and credit card commissions will be deducted when calculating refunds.

4. Children Price

Children under 6 years old sharing the same bed with her/his parent: The child receives 80% reduction from adult price.

Children from 6 years old up to 12 years old receives 30% reduction from adult price.

Children from 12 years old up will be fully charged at the adult price.

Parents can only bring children under 6 years old on these occasions: Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year.

Children age will be counted to the departure day of voyage.

* Please note our cruises are not safe and suitable for young or small children under 6 years old as our ship have railings but no netting.

5. Departure Date Change Policy

The Passengers will not be allowed to change the travel agency right after we receive the final payment;

The final document will be issued after we receive the final payment and about thirty (30) days before the departure;

All the reservation can be canceled if the final payment is not be settled in due time and the reservations are guaranteed only when full payment is settled at least 125 days before the departure.
